The Rising Tide are four musicians from the Hamilton Ontario area that are collaborating to create an unstoppable wall of musical energy that will grab hold of you and drag you out to a churning sea of thunderous rhythms, barreling riffs and hooks you'll wish you could fish with.
  The band was formed in the early fall of 2010 in six degrees of separation fashion, all coming from various blues rock projects in the past which inevitably drew the members together to finally rise up with an undertow of certainty.
  In the last eight months The Rising Tide has diligently worked on their first EP "Return To Babylon", while exposing their bluesbreaking material to the southern Ontario scene. The EP was recorded on April 9th and 10th at Burning Sound Studios in Niagara Falls by Adam Hendershot.
  The band since then has been performing from Hamilton to Niagara Falls as well as Toronto and is receiving a genuine response to an undeniable truth, The Rising Tide is rolling in.
  Members are Jay Macedo on guitar/vocals, Riley Himmrich on lead guitar, Dave Jones on bass guitar, and Pat Kelly on drums.
